Beverly Serafica started the playing piano at a very young age. During her musical studies she was also involved in the orchestra and in chamber music under the direction of Joni Swenson. She participated in various music festivals and competitions held by organizations such as the California Music Educators Association, Certificate of Merit, National Guild, and the California Association of Professional Teachers. After years of training, Beverly decided to take her musical career to the next level. She moved north to attend the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she studied piano, accompaniment, and chamber music with Professors Mack McCray, Timothy Bach, and Yoshi Nagai. In 2008, she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Piano Performance. She is an active pianist, music director, accompanist, and teacher throughout San Jose and the San Francisco Bay Area. |
