Exodus Mella Granadosin is a licensed Medical Doctor in the Philippines who comes from a family of Musicians. He is a member of the gospel singers, The Granadosin Brothers. All brothers were encouraged by their mother, a music graduate majoring in voice (mezzo-soprano), to study piano and Exodus was the only one among six siblings who showed interest in piano playing. Exodus started taking private piano lessons at age 7. He continued to study at University of the Philippines Conservatory of Music under Prof. Reynaldo T. Paguio . He was the church organist and choir accompanist for two big United Methodist churches, the Knox United Methodist and Central United Methodist Church in the Philippines. He practiced medicine for a couple of years before joining his wife in the USA in 1988. He did not stop using his talent in piano playing and was active in church music.
Arriving in the US, he made Jersey City, NJ his first home. He became a member of "Kayumanggi Chorale of New York and New Jersey" performing at Alice Tully Hall, New York on several events. Moving to Henderson, Nevada in 2001, he continued to be involved in church music as organist and choir accompanist. In 2004, he opened his own piano studio named, E.M.G Piano Studio and taught piano lessons for almost 5 years until he moved to Milpitas, California in 2009. Exodus is a well respected choir Director,organist and accompanist in various churches in the Bay Area.. |
