Ian Hinkle was born in San Jose. He received his B.A. in Music from UCLA where he was a part of the honor choir under Donald Neuen and several other ensembles i.e. men's glee club, opera workshop. Ian has also sung with Vocal Flight (vocal jazz) under the direction of Roger Letson from DeAnza college as well as jazz solo voice classes at DeAnza. For the last 9 years Ian has sung with Choral Project under Daniel Hughes, prodigy of Charlene Archibeque and the San Jose State Choraliers.

Ian was the music director for St. Francis of Assisi Parish for 11 years and is now a music and computer teacher at St. Victor School for the past 8 years. He enjoys playing the piano, guitar and has recently taken up playing the tenor saxophone. Also, he enjoys working with kids and brings a wide range of music genres to his lessons.
