Camille Vargas

Piano Instructor

Camille was born and raised in San Jose, California. She started studying piano with Kai Chi Zhu at the age of four and continued piano lessons with her for 14 years. Camille won multiple Grand Champion and Double Grand Champion awards in the United States Open Music Competition held in Oakland, California and won first place in the Marian Filice Scholarship Competition. She has also performed Gershwins Rhapsody in Blue with the South Valley Symphony. Ms. Vargas attended San Jose State University where she received her Bachelors Degree of Music in Piano Performance. She studied under the tutelage of Dr. Gwendolyn Mok and Dr. Namik Sultanov. She also taught in a Summer Music Literacy Program by Steinway Society to help public schools in the area with the objective of integrating music into the childrens lives. Camille is a San Jose Piano Instructor and has been teaching piano lessons to students of all age levels and skills for many years. Music has always been her passion. She wants to pursue further studies and take Music Therapy Masters programs to help individuals with special needs and disabilities.
